Please Note:
Attending Part 1 is highly recommended but not required as it covers the essential basics needed for the hands-on experience in Part 2.
Part 2: Hands-On at Sakaw Gardens
What to Bring: Your own pruning tools (as covered in Part 1). Some tools may be available to borrow, but supplies are limited.
In this hands-on session, Myrna will demonstrate pruning techniques, followed by supervised practice on the fruit trees in the orchard. This is your chance to gain confidence in your pruning skills and better understand where and how to make the cuts for optimal results.
About the Instructor
Myrna Peters is an ISA Certified Arborist with over 20 years experience working in the private and commercial TREE CARE Industry. She currently works for Arbor Man Tree Care as a Consultant/Estimator/IPM Manager (insects & fungus). Myrna is excited to share her knowledge and experience with us.
