About the event

About the Workshop:

  • There are many reasons to make your own jam, among them: superior taste, whole food ingredients that are free of additives, control over the sugar, self reliance, cost savings, making best use of your resources, family tradition and satisfaction. It is essentially – SUMMER IN A JAR.

  • And let’s not forget that making jam is fun. Learn how to make jam using fruits that are easy to grow in your own backyard: rhubarb, raspberries, strawberries, currants, apples, cherries, saskatoons, grapes or any combination of your favourite fruits.
