"Rink (noun) a place to skate, learn, cry, grow up, train, live, breathe and escape to"
Millhurst installs and maintains a hockey rink and snow banked rink at Meyokumin during the winter months.

PLEASE RESPECT THE RIGHTS OF OTHERS FOR THE ENJOYMENT OF ALL!!
🏒 ⛸️ Ice rink is open 7 days a week (weather permitting) with lights on until 10 PM. Skate Shack is available for warm-up breaks and to put on/take off skates. On days when the shack is open, a hockey net will also be provided.
Rink Closure Policy:
-
Rink closed if the temperature is above 0°C or below -20°C with windchill.
Fees & Safety:
-
Skating is free with a community league membership or skate tag.
-
Skate tags: $5 for the season or $2 for drop-in.
-
Helmets are mandatory for anyone under 10 years of age. Those over 10 skate at their own risk if not wearing a helmet.
-
As temperatures rise above 0 degrees, our outdoor ice rinks become vulnerable to damage that's challenging to fix. To ensure everyone's safety, especially when temperatures plummet below 20 degrees Celsius with wind chill or if temps are above 0 degrees, we'll temporarily close the ice rinks.
Come out and enjoy some skating fun! ❄️⛸️
NO RINKS FOR 2025/2026
Despite our best efforts to prepare for the skating season, a major equipment breakdown has occurred that will prevent us from installing the ice this year.We know how much the rinks mean to our families and neighbours. Our team worked hard to find a solution, but the specialized parts required for the repair are on backorder and are not expected to arrive until late January.
Why we made this decision: By the time the equipment is repaired and the weather allows for a proper deep-freeze and flood, we would only have a very small window of skating time left in the season. After careful consideration of the costs and the labor required, the Community League board has decided it is best to focus our resources on ensuring the equipment is fully restored and ready for a primary start next winter. Thank you so much for your understanding.
