About the event
Join us for an introduction to stained glass course that will explain the artwork, techniques and process to making simple windows, sun catchers and lamps. Taught by longterm Millhurst resident and stained glass artisan, Fern McIver. Includes all supplies and equipment. You will leave the course with a finished stained glass sun catcher that you’ve made from a choice of colours and designs.
Age Restrictions: Due to the use of sharp glass and high-heat tools, we cannot accommodate children under the age of 12, regardless of supervision. Participants aged 12–16 must be accompanied by a registered adult.
All beginners will be offered a choice of projects the night of the class and everyone else can contact Fern at fernmciver@icloud.com or 1-780-716-2752 to verify your experience level and the project you would like to make.
Please note all projects above the base level will have additional costs that will be discussed with Fern and paid directly to her the night of the class.
Base level cost $55.00 with community membership (proof required) & $60.00 without membership.
