About the event

All About Rhubarb, with an Introduction to Haskaps (the Prairie Super Berry)

This presentation guides attendees through the successful planting and ongoing care of Rhubarb, as well as proper harvesting, propagation and many practical and creative ways to use it.

It will also INTRODUCE you to the NEW Berry in the northern game - HASKAPS.  Both grow well in our climate, are perfectly suited to urban yards, and are the earliest producing edibles in the garden.  You will taste samples and take recipes home.  The workshop will be both informative and inspiring for gardeners of all experience levels.

You might also be interested in coming on our Field Trip to the Rosy Haskap Farm in July to learn more about growing Haskaps.  Bus space is limited, so register as soon as possible.
