About the event

About the Workshop:

Garlic may sound simple, but there’s so much more to it than meets the eye! Join us for a fun, hands-on evening where you’ll discover the secrets of planting, harvesting, and enjoying garlic.

What you’ll learn:

  • How to plant garlic bulbs for a great harvest

  • When garlic is ready to pick (and how to tell)

  • How to cure, tie, and dry garlic for storage

  • The flower bud of the hardneck garlic plant — the scape — what it is, when to harvest it, and how to use it in cooking

  • The best way to roast a whole bulb + recipe sharing

  • Tips for preserving garlic to use year-round

✨ Whether you’re a gardener, a cook, or just curious to try something new, this workshop is for you. Come learn, share, and connect with fellow garlic enthusiasts — everyone is welcome!
