Based on tomato sales, the average North American eats almost 30 pounds of tomatoes a year. But what about those of us who grow and preserve our own? How would stats ever reflect that? Tomatoes are one of the most popular vegetables grown in Canadian gardens, and September abounds with them!  

Let's explore, share and sample together. Show us your favourite homegrown tomatoes. We'll share tips on how to grow them, use them, and preserve them, as well as recipes, and of course we'll sample some of our favourite ways to eat them. Let's learn from each other.
